smitten.

today i discovered the shopping website beso 

{via joanna goddard's blog 
aka the holy grail of the blogoverse}.

i was like a kid in a candy shop,

spending my imaginary wealth on name brand items

from madewell to alexander mcqueen to create my ideal

summer wish list collection. 

here are a few of my favorite pretty things:

 juicy couture lace dress-- 

the perfect dress for every summer occasion.

even lawn bowling. 

i would wear this tory burch shoulder bag every day of my life. 

i swear.  

ditto for this little crossbody wristlet. love the colors.

this simple anthropologie cuff may be my favorite item on the list...

and the fact that it's mint green is just a wonderful plus. 

{unrelated aside: i watched she's the man for like the ninety seventh time this 

weekend & completely forgot about the random plug they give anthropologie. 

i remember being twelve thinking, anthropologie has shoes in the back? 

what does that even mean? thank god for the wisdom that comes with being 

nearly a quarter of a century old.

oh madewell, why do you make polka dots so unbearably cute?

and so unbearably overpriced?

 i'm not terribly fussy when it comes to jewelry,

so i love the simplicity of this dainty necklace from nordstrom.

i'm sad to report that i hyperventilated a bit when i first spotted this 

alexander mcqueen black cotton canvas jacket. for nearly three thousand dollars,

it's hardly a sensible wardrobe addition. 

but i just love to look at it. 

i highly recommend checking beso.com out,

even if it is just to play around in your dream closet.

who knows, maybe three thousand dollars 

{and crazy wardrobe insurance} will

magically appear in my purse tomorrow morning.
