this skirt is probably the closest i'll ever come to wearing carrie bradshaw's iconic tutu. i bought it at zara last christmas, and maybe because of the subtle sparkle, or the season when it was purchased, i've filed it away in my mind as a special occassion (read: holiday) skirt. but i decided to give it a chance today, and holycow, did it exceed expectations. it makes me wonder how many sneaky "seasonal" items are hidden in my closet, begging to see the summer sun...

went to the doctor today; 

perfect bill of health, y'all!

the doctor said i was the healthiest person she had seen all day--

then again the majority of patients in the waiting room

were well over seventy two. 

i actually love going to the doctor;

i like knowing that everything is running ship shape.

{and it certainly doesn't hurt that they leave out details magazines 

in the waiting room. i read a most excellent article about this guy.

anyway.

i guess that was my roundabout way of saying:

visit your doctor so that you, too, may read magazine articles about 

scrumptious, yoga-practicing rock stars 

and also make sure that you are in tip-top physical shape.

it's the perfect dress to twirl in,

ideal light fabric & length for summer,

but best of all,

 it was on super sale at urban. 

so don't be surprised

 if you see my wearing it a third time this week.
