my friday night went to some pretty great causes;
chocolate cake and splatter paint parties,
stargazing in the university planetarium,
some wicked awesome student art exhibitions
and...
relay for life! woo!
{and for future reference,
i maintained a straight face for
the entire luminary ceremony.
i didn't even crack a smile.
...
this is a lie.
my friends & i awkwardly laughed multiple times because
i kept spilling hot wax on myself every time
my candle blew out--
which was often.
one guy gave me an especially nasty look,
but then again
he could have just spilled
hot wax on his thigh too.
