who needs sunshine and gainful employment...

...when i have hot wednesday night knitting dates & polyvore?
{and a heck of a lot of community service on the books?}

i went over to megan's last night and just like the super cool college girls we are,
we knitted while watching a tlc special on early onset schizophrenia.
old lady mentality for the win.
and i'll let you in on a little secret:
knitting is not as easy as tv grandmas make it out to be.
they just clink, clink, clink their little needles together and voila!
a sharp looking sweater set and matching mittens.
false. it took me a sad amount of time just to cast on.
and it looked more like i was practicing facial yoga than serenely
knitting a sweater for my neighbor's westie.
...
today, of course, has been exclusively dedicated to
household chores and polyvore
(cue doe-eyed stare and a slight parting of the lips)
guys. polyvore is a rollicking good time for the starry-eyed, fashion idealizing set.
{i.e. me}
loafer lovee

just look at those miu miu moccasins in the center.
sigh.

all about town

some little photos from our shopping extravaganza this friday.
we hit up target
{twice in a 24 hour period for me, thankyouverymuch
and my beloved barnes & noble.
and in this time, we developed an unhealthy addiction to all things tiny.

first came the tiny shoes...

{mary shows off a pair of baby wedges}

{rainboots that i would have purchased for myself, had they made a size 8 1/2}

{chrissy + baby loafers}

...then came the tiny book...
{the tiny book of tiny stories from joseph gordon-levitt's
production company, hitRECord}

{a tiny illustration from the tiny book of tiny stories, volume 1}

{stacks upon stacks of lovely art books.
are you sure i can't pull a claudia kincaid and
run away to live in a book store?}

have a great sunday &
go do something excellent.
xx
