Weekend Update:

I've been doing laundry for what seems like forever. 

I should have just bought more socks.

And now, music.

If you know me at all you know that I am not a badass. I just don't possess that devil-may-care-attitude (Much as I wish.) Rather, I have allusions of badass-ery. Like when I'm listening to these two songs:

the sunday soundtrack this week is 

a cover of a cover of a cover.

{did you get all that?}

"heartbeats" by royal teeth 

will probably make you think of 

jose gonzalez's coo-ing 2005 ballad,

but his "heartbeats" is actually a more mellow version

of swedish band the knife's 2003 single. 

royal teeth's "heartbeats" is truer to the original,

but i encourage you to listen to all the covers
because they are all excellent. 

{i think ellie goulding did another fairly recently.}

seeing as how i'm officially done with my freshman year,

i've vowed to post EVERY DAY this week.

{because even though my facebook is reactivated, 

it's still not getting that much play}

because amidst the study guides, flashcards, and highlighters of hell week, 

i discovered my new favorite band via 8tracks: paper kites.
