If you know me at all you know that I am not a badass. I just don't possess that devil-may-care-attitude (Much as I wish.) Rather, I have allusions of badass-ery. Like when I'm listening to these two songs:

chrissy made me the best mix tape for my easter weekend road trip,

and, lo and behold, this was track number three. 

i rolled down all the windows and sang at the very top of my lungs.

it was a freeing moment

i felt safe. i felt wild. i felt alive. 

isn't it great when music can give you that?
